Our Excursion to Mauthausen

Yesterday the 4a and the 4d from the Gymnasium Wieselburg drove to the ancient concentration camp Mauthausen. When we came there we had a beautiful weather and we weren’t able to imagine what cruels had been done there. But after some time we were able to imagine….. and we all were really shocked about this crimes: The national socialists had kept the prisoners like animals. Can you imagine: 80 people had had to life in a room, as big as a classroom!!!!!!

Now when I’m thinking of this excursion I’m still shocked and I personally think that such crimes must not happen again!!!!!!

The Sommersportwoche

On Monday th 19th all the 4th forms from our school went to Niederöblarn and had the so called “Sommersportwoche”. We were able to choose, which discipline we wanted to practice. Some went climbing, camping, playing tennis, riding a horse or playing Volleyball. I played Volleyball and had a great fun in learning this fascinating kind of sport.

I was in a room with Manuel, Matteo, Dominik and Martin, who got sometimes a little bit crazy. ;) We went to bed very late and we had great fun until we fell asleep.

I think this week was a great experience and I hope, that we´ll have more often such weeks.

My Drums

One of the things I´m fond of is my drum. For real it`s not my drum, but it`s my cousin`s one. He gave it to me because he lives in a city and all their neighbors would get mad, if he played on it.

They are so called “Pearl – EXPORT SERIES” drums and I play nearly every day on them. I learn this instrument in Steinakirchen in a kind of school where you can learn playing instruments. I also joined the brass band in Steinakirchen and we practice once a week all together.

You see I`m in favour of my drums.

FROM DAWN TO FALL: Revolution

This is my favorite song from the band “FROM DAWN TO FALL”:

Revolution

I wish that I could get you as much as you would like me to but I
I am not the kind of person worrying about a senseless lie
You will not convince me, no
Certainly not once again
And I’m willing to give up on you now

And again, I’m ready to see you fall
[I’m ready to see you fall]
And again, I’m ready to see you fall, so just back off for now

Now you’re falling down on your knees asking for some sympathy
But i’m not the one who spends his entire time feeling sorry
You will not persuade me, no
Certainly not once again
Cause this time i’m not the one to blame

And again, I’m ready to see you fall
[I’m ready to see you fall]
There is no hope for us now, there is no hope for us now, i’m giving up
[The days of revolution]

This is all your fault
[The days of revolution]
This is all your fault
[Revolution]

How to drive:

My RC-Car

In my free time I often drive with my remote controlled-, or RC car. (=ferngesteuertes Auto) It has got a petrol – engine. If you drive a straight street, it`ll be able to speed up to 70 km/h. With its 2.5 hp it is able to crawl every steep road. I really love my car and I`m always looking forward to drive the next time.

My Trip To Rome

From the 31st January to the 4th of February is spent some time in Rome. I went there with two friends and an adult because of an “World-youth-meeting”. We arrived int that metropolis at 12:00 and started to visit the sights immediately. Here is a picture from the first day:

The second day we stayed the whole day long at the youth-meeting in Castel Gandolfo. I met people from all over the world. I talked with Spain people, for real with Italian teenagers and also with boys from Brazil.

The following day, we went to the Vatican and listened to an audience from the pope. Here you`ve got a picture of the Vatican:

When we flew home, I was happy because of this relaxing week.

Steinakirchen

Now I want to tell you something about my hometown Steinakirchen. Steinakirchen is a small village with allover 2000 inhabitants. Steinakirchen is one of the oldest villages in the whole district and its is very famous for it`s old church. It is located in the “Mostviertel” and surrounded by nice hills. In Steinakirchen you can play soccer, tennis and you can go to a public open-air swimming pool. But you can`t go shopping in Steinakirchen. So you have to go to the next cities, like Wieselburg or Amstetten.

I think that Steinakirchen is the most beautiful village to life in. And I´m for shure that you would also think in that way, if you`ve ever been to my Hometown.

The Simpsons: Movie

Homer adopts a pig who’s run away from Krusty Burger after Krusty tried to kill him. At the same time, the lake is protected after the audience sink the barge Green Day are on with garbage after they mention the environment. Meanwhile, the Pig’s waste has filled up a silo in just 2 days, apparently with Homer’s help. Homer can’t get to the dump quickly so dumps the silo in the lake, polluting it. Russ Cargill, the boss of the EPA, gives Arnold Schwarzenegger 5 options, forcing him to choose 4 (which is, unfortunately, to destroy Springfield) and putting a dome over Springfield to prevent evacuation. Homer, however, has escaped, along with his family. Can he stop the evil Cargill from destroing his home town, and his family, who have been forced to return to Springfield?
